P.G. is a songwriter, producer, and Logic Pro certified audio engineer whose music has been featured on networks and platforms such as Netflix, Fox Sports, NFL Network, CBS, NBC, MTV, VH1, E! Entertainment, Bravo, Animal Planet, A&E, The History Channel, Lifetime, Big Ten Network (BTN) and WEtv among others. As a writer, some highlights include co-writing music for the Coca-Cola Olympic commercial featuring female boxer, Marlen Esparza. And writing the theme song for the short documentary Mountain Man, winner of the Yosemite International Film Festival Silver Sierra Award. In addition to being a professional writer and producer, P.G. also teaches Composition & Songwriting at Dark Horse Institute, located in Franklin, TN. He developed the songwriting curriculum at DHI with a focus on writing “hit songs” for commercial purposes. P.G. has a passion for working with artists who are interested in developing their artist brand as well as writing music for the sync (TV, film & advertising) marketplace.
Prior to joining Dark Horse Institute, P.G. worked at Hummingbird Productions (most well-known for the Budweiser Frogs TV commercial). He has licensed music for TV and radio advertising campaigns, including brands like: Coca-Cola, Walmart, Purina, Chili's, Verizon, Cracker Barrel and Prilosec among others. Additionally, P.G. has built a catalog of over 2,000 works which have generated over 2,000 placements on 240 different TV series.
P.G. studied music composition at King's College in London, England and received a bachelor degree from Boston College in 2003. In 2009, he graduated from the SAE Institute of Technology where he studied audio engineering with legendary British composer & producer, Alan Shacklock.
P.G. engineered and produced the Tim O'Connell album "It's My Song Dammit" released in 2010. O’Connell wrote "A Singer of Songs" which was recorded by Johnny Cash. P.G. also co-produced and mixed the audio for the environmental documentary "Toxic Soup" (2010).
